Brunch date @ The Cupping Room [Central], Hong Kong

I really do love a good cup of coffee, so I'm always on a lookout for good coffee spots. Recently hubby and I were able to go out on a daytime brunch date at The Cupping Room in Central, which was recommended by one of hubby's colleagues who is also a coffee enthusiast. This is definitely no place to bring kids, as there is really not much room, and we shared a table with a few others. It was a busy Saturday, and there was only one staff manning the upstairs dining room, so service could definitely be improved. However, the coffee is indeed good, and the croissants are to die for. And those alone are worth revisiting.

The counter on the ground floor for takeaway orders:

The upstairs dining room:

My piccolo latte (HK$32) and hubby's cappuccino (HK$38) with the awesomely fresh and flaky croissant:

Hubby's Full Brekky (HK$128), which included his choice of eggs (scrambled, HK$10 extra), tomatoes, sausages, bacon, mushroom and toast:

My Egg Benedict w/ Smoked Salmon (HK$108) was really good:

Look at that yolk:
