Classy interior:
Honey-glazed Iberico Barbecued Iberico Pork (HK$398). Plump, juicy and tender - a nice upscale version of the charsiu:
Roasted Sliced Suckling Pig (HK$280). Perfectly crispy skin without the greasiness:
Crispy Noodles with Chicken Broth (HK$220), for the 6-year-old who enjoyed it immensely:
Peking Duck (HK$768), served with Tri-color Pancakes:
The condiments and vegetables to go with the Peking duck course:
The duck, all sliced up and ready for the tri-color pancakes!
The kitchen used up the rest of the duck to make san choy bow. The duck mince was a little too salty to eat on its own, but was delicious wrapped up in the lettuce leaves (or the leftover pancakes):
Some stirfried greens (bak choy and brocolli) with garlic to make this meal more balanced:
Friend's hubby ordered the Mango Pudding (HK$60), and this one had sago in it too:
Dear pregnant friend was craving some rich Egg Yolk Custard Bun (HK$60 for three):
Hubby liked the sound of the Blueberry Glutinous Rice Dumpling (HK$60). The pairing of blueberries with black glutinous rice on the palate was surprising but pleasant:
We all enjoyed dinner at Cuisine Cuisine at the IFC. I prefer the restaurant at the Mira, but that is only due to my personal taste.
